This paper deals with the natural lift curves and the geodesic sprays for the spherical indicatrices of the timelike-spacelike Bertrand couple on the tangent bundle T(S^ 2_1) or T(H^2_0) in Minkowski 3-space and then give some new characterizations for these curves. Additionally we illustrate an example of our main results.

In this paper, using Darboux frame {T,g,n}, of ruled surface ϕ(s,v ), Mannheim offsets ϕ* (s,v) with Darboux frame {T*,g*,n*} , of ϕ*(s,v ) are defined. The striction curve, distribution parameter and orthogonal trajectory of ϕ*(s,v )are investigated by using the Darboux frame {T,g,n}. The distribution parameters of ruled surfaces ϕ*_T, ϕ*_g, and ϕ*_n are calculated. Finally, the relation between the instantaneous Pfaffian vectors of motions H / ‘ H and * * H / ‘ H are given, where H = {T,g,n} be the moving space along the base curve of ϕ(s,v ), H*= {T*,g*,n*} be the moving space along the base curve of ϕ* (s,v) , H’ and H * be fixed Euclidean spaces.

In this study, we have got numerical solutions of the generalized RosenauKdV equation by using collocation finite element method in which septic B-splines are used as approximate functions. Effectivity and proficiency of the method are shown by solving the equation with different initial and boundary conditions. Also, to do this L_2 and L_ ∞ error norms and two lowest invariants I_M and I_E have been computed. A linear stability analysis indicates that our algorithm, based on a Crank Nicolson approximation in time, is unconditionally stable. An error analysis of the new algorithm has been made. The obtained numerical solutions are compared with some earlier studies. This comparison clearly indicates that the obtained results are better than the earlier results.

In this paper, the summation integral type operators based on Lupas and Szász basis functions are introduced. The degree of approximation of these operators is examined in terms of Ditzian-Totik modulus of smoothness and corresponding K-functional. The rate of convergence by means of the Lipschitz class and the Lipschitz type maximal function is investigated. Furtermore, the properties of weigthed approximation and Voronoskaja type theorem in weighted spaces are obtained. The advantages of these operators are shown by some graphics and numerical calculations.

In this study, the relation between Frenet vectors of the natural lift curve α of the curve α and Frenet vectors of a β the involute of α is given in IR^3 and IR^3_ 1

In this paper, a numerical collocation method based on Lucas polynomials is presented to solve the system of linear functional differential equations with variable coefficients under the mixed conditions. This method transforms the functional system along with conditions into a matrix equation by means of collocation points and the truncated Lucas series. Furthermore, by use of an error analysis technique based on residual function, we improve effectiveness of the method. Our results are illustrated and corroborated with some numerical experiments.

Nonlinear mathematical problems and their solutions attain much attention in solitary waves. In soliton theory an efficient tool to attain various types of soliton solution is the exp-function technique. Under study article is devoted to find soliton wave solutions of fractional fifth order evolution equation via a reliable mathematical technique. By use of proposed technique we attain soliton wave solution of various types. The regulation of proposed algorithm is demonstrated by consequent analytical results and computational work. It is noticed that under discussion technique is user friendly with minimum computational work, also we can extend it for physical problems of different nature

The present study deals with some new properties for the Cesàro polynomials of three variables. The results obtained here include various families of multilinear and multilateral generating functions and their miscellaneous properties. We also derive an application giving certain families of bilateral generating functions for the Cesàro polynomials and the generalized Lauricella functions. At the end, we discuss some special cases for this theorem.

In this paper, we deal with a q -Dirac system. We investigate some spectral properties and the asymptotic behavior of the eigenvalues and the eigenfunctions of this q – Dirac system.

In this paper, the eigenvalues and the eigenfunctions of the Sturm-Liouville fuzzy problem with fuzzy coefficient boundary conditions are examined under the approach of Hukuhara differentiability. Because of the boundary conditions have fuzzy coefficient, it is found that the eigenvalues depend on α. Therefore, different eigenvalues are obtained for each α on ሾ0,1ሻ.

In this paper, we have given the procedure and implement the differential transform method (DTM) to solve some linear fractional differential equations under fuzzy initial value conditions. The derivative is in the sense of the Caputo fractional derivative. The solutions of considered model examples are computed in the form of convergent series with easily computable components. To display the strength and applicability of this proposed method few illustrative examples are solved and the obtained results show that the said approach is easy to implement.

The object of this paper is to discuss a new structure on manifolds, namely the bronze structure and study connections as bronze structure, integrability and parallelism of bronze structures, and bronze Riemannian manifolds.

Analysis of an enterprise’s financial performance through the net result of the year is not significant because it takes into account the financial elements and the profit tax. The assessment of the real effort of the enterprise, its results and its difficulties requires the analytical investigation of the exploitation result, of the training conditions and of the determining factors of action. For the same operating conditions, enterprises can record different results due to factors independent of the company’s effort. These are the accounting choice for depreciation methods, cost calculation, inventory valuation and provisioning. The exploitation result characterizes an enterprise’s business and financial performance, independent of financial and fiscal policy, but takes into account the depreciation and provisioning policy, respectively inventory valuation policy. The main question is: what depreciation method is more efficient and effective? From this point of view, in the present paper we propose to approach methods of depreciation of fixed assets, and by comparing them to determine the effect they have on financial performance, especially on the result of exploitation.

In this new environment where the competition grow faster than ever before and the fight for attracting, retaining and gaining new customers became harder than ever, to survive in these conditions and to obtain competitive advantage, the organizations must adapt to different trends and challenges existing in this new environment. One of these challenges, on which organization must adapt, is implementing new technology, in order to satisfy customers’ needs faster, cheaper and better. In this article, we proposed to present the evolution of e-business, and its advantages and disadvantages for organizations and for customers. We also developed a mathematical model, in which we show that there is a direct and positive relationship between e-business/e-commerce and some important factors having direct influence on these online processes.

The soybean oil was carefully studied in recent years because they may constitute a raw material for biodegradable lubricants getting organic. These oils are an alternative to synthetic mineral oils. This article presents rheological behavior of soybean oil. The dynamic viscosity of soybean oil was determined at temperatures range between 313 – 373 K and shear rates range from 3.3 – 120 s^-1. For temperature ranging between 313 – 373 K soybean oil has a Bingham fluid behavior.

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources, and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) classified the bodies of water in Davao as Class SB for seawater environment along the Davao Gulf and Class B or recreational water on the downstream area of the Davao River. Under these classifications, both bodies of water can be used by the public for recreational and other important activities. However, with the development in the City, the quality of these bodies of water is threatened by and affected with the accumulation of various pollutants particularly heavy metals. In order to assess the current heavy metal pollution in the aquatic environments, scientific investigation was conducted to determine the concentrations of the following heavy metals: Cadmium (Cd), Lead (Pb), Manganese (Mn), Iron (Fe), Zinc (Zn) and Copper (Cu) in two environmental sampling units, the typical estuarine (downstream) and near shore environments along Davao gulf. Surface water and sediments were sampled in these sites. Results show that the surface water environment contained substantial amount of Cd, Pb, Mn, Fe and Zn. Of these heavy metals, the concentrations of Cd and Pb were found to be higher than the maximum allowable limits for both fresh and marine water. In addition, significant enrichments of Cd, Cu, Fe, Mn and Zn were detected on the surface sediments of the downstream environment. Results revealed that except for the Pb level, the mean concentrations of most heavy metal (Cd, Cu and Zn) in the surface sediments were substantially higher compared to the threshold effects limit. The findings demonstrate the accumulations of heavy metals in the aquatic resources which call for immediate review of the current classifications of the bodies of water in the region.

Collagen is a protein with an important role in the body. Harvesting it from natural bio-resources offered by the Black Sea is the general objective of this study. The Black Sea offers multiple possibilities for raw materials rich in bioactive compounds. The directions in which studies have been performed to capitalize on these natural bioresources are highlighted. Of the Gray Mullet marine fish, collagen hydrogels were obtained through various extraction treatments (acid treatment, enzymatic treatment, combined treatment).The paper presents the extraction yields achieved by the applied treatments. The study shows the results obtained through multiple physico-chemical analyzes performed to characterize the collagen obtained (determination of total nitrogen, moisture content, protein content, pH, ash content, fat content and mineral content, solubility). The conclusions of these results lead to the idea that this product containing collagen hydrolyzate is suitable for use as a biomaterial.

Fine-Paste Ware (FPW) was an evidence of trade routes connecting maritime Southeast Asia during 13th to 14th centuries. Beyond the present-day Thailand and Indonesia, FPW artifacts were also found at Otein Taung in Bagan in central Myanmar. Microscope images reveal fine cross-sectional texture of sample from such archaeological site. As a comparison, Coarse-Paste Ware (CPW) shreds of the approximately similar historical age from Tamil Nadu in southern India and Nakhon Si Thammarat in southern Thailand exhibit rough clusters with pores. In additions, the CPW samples from Thailand contain exceptionally high amount of carbon up to 36% suggesting the ash glazing in the manufacturing process. Iron contents in potshreds from Otein Taung in Myanmar are higher than that from Tamil Nadu in India, supporting the hypothesis that earthenware in Southeast Asia were locally produced and independent from the dominant India.

This article highlights the main physico – chemical characteristics of the therapeutic muds collected from localities mentioned by the literature (Rodbav, Homorod and Persani), but also from two other localities discovered during the study period, namely Rupea and Grid. The study and presentation of the sources of mass treatment was, however, a brief one over time, and empirical valorification was made by the locals. Therefore, the present paper aims to shows the particularities of the treatments in the Brasov County, presenting the way in which they have been exploited in the past. Through the information contained: the history of knowledge and valorisation of therapeutic muds and their physico-chemical characteristics, this work is considered to present a high interest in the matter of completing and updating the information about the treatments in Brasov County.

Even though chemistry is sometimes recognized as the core science due to its importance in many fields of our life, it has a bad reputation in school, being classified as an abstract and boring science. The paper outlines the journey of chemistry from central science to chemofobia and how should school and teachers can address this. The paper emphasizes how chemophobia is amplified and suggests that in most cases it is not interrelated with difficulties encountered in learnig of chemistry. Some of the most common misconceptions related to chemophobia such as “many cancers are related to synthetic chemical compounds”, “food and collor additives are very toxic”, “the food is contaminated with a lot of dangerous chemicals”, etc., are discussed and it was demonstrated their little supportive evidence. The paper highlights the importance of school (chemistry teachers, in particular) to clarify the fundamental terms such as natural or synthetic chemical compounds, food additives, drugs, artificial sweeteners, etc.

The oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is the most common malignant neoplasm of the oral cavity with up to 50% of the mortality rate. It has been reported about 14.1 million new cancer cases and 8.2 million cancer deaths in 2012. Numbers of studies have been performed to investigate the factors that have direct and indirect or both associated with the OSCC, including their survival time. In this paper, the potential clinic pathological prognostic factors will be determined in patients who attended Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) from 2005 to 2015 using multilayer feed-forward (MLFF) neural network. The objective of the current study is to develop a multilayer feed-forward (MLFF) neural network model of time survival of OSCC. Alcohol, tumor site, tumor size and betel quid were significant. These four variables were used to develop the best (MLFF) neural network model of OSCC.

The purpose of this study is to develop models for controlling electricity consumption with the goal of evolving efficiency in the electricity consumption system. The models developed for the electricity consumption problem attempts to investigate the consumption pattern of individual electric appliances in a building to allow for more efficient electricity consumption. The time-based electricity consumption visualizations for appliances used in this research study is carried out to evaluate the level of efficiency in electricity consumption. This paper presents a bottom-up modelling approach for stochastic electricity consumption data profiles in households. By collecting household electricity consumption data, a model is developed for domestic electricity consumption based on daily activity profiles for individual appliances. As a means of validating the model, a statistical comparison is made between measured data collected for appliances over a period in Hamilton, New Zealand and simulated data sets from these measurements. The output of the proposed domestic load model may be designed to meet specific requirements of consumers or integrated into other models.

In this article, a space time numerical scheme has been proposed to approximate solutions of the nonlinear Rosenau-Korteweg-de Vries-Regularized Long Wave (Rosenau-KdV-RLW) equation which represents the dynamics of shallow water waves. The scheme is based on a septic B-spline finite element method for the spatial approximation followed by a method of lines for the temporal integration. The proposed scheme has been illustarated with two test problems involving single solitary and shock waves. To demonstrate the competency of the present numerical algorithm the error norms L_2 , L_ ∞ and two lowest invariants I_M and I_E have been calculated. Linear stability analysis of the scheme has been studied using von-Neumann theory. The illustrated results confirm that the method is efficient and preserves desired accuracy.

This paperwork reviews a laboratory developed prototype, of a modern detection system, for fire hazards and gas leakages that occur in kitchens, households and industrial buildings. The system is based on an AVR microcontroller, equiped with a gas sensor and a generic thermistor, for detection of high temperatures due to domestic fires. The system also has an integrated GSM module for SMS alert, an LCD for displaying the read values, three color LEDs for the gas concentration levels and a high pitch piezoelectric speaker for local acoustic warning. In addition, the developed system is able to control two integrated relays that can be used for: fire sprinkler systems, gas supply cutt off and gas evacuation systems
