In this work, we study the properties of the Mannheim curves in terms of inextensible flows in E^3. Using the Frenet frame of the given curve, we present partial differential equations. We give some characterizations for curvatures of a curve in E^3

In this paper, we presented another concept of N-O.S.called NS_α-O.S. and studied their fundamental properties in nano topological spaces. We also present NS_α- interior and NS_α – closure and study some of their fundamental properties.

In this study, the weighted distance matrix and the weighted distance energy for simple connected weighted graphs are considered and some bounds for the largest eigenvalue of the weighted distance matrix and the weighted distance enrgy are found. Moreover, some results are obtained by using these bounds for weighted and unweighted graphs.

This article is concerned with the approximate solution of fractional order endemic model of non-fatal disease in a community. We consider that a population in the concerned community is initially in equilibrium with an endemic disease caused by a wild type virus. Using Laplace transform coupled with Adomian decomposition method, we obtain numerical solution of the proposed model. The mentioned method is known as Laplace Adomian decomposition method (LADM). The solutions obtained by this method are compared with the solutions obtained by the RK4 and homotopy perturbation method for taking classical order derivative of the governing equations.

We study modules with the properties (δ – TWE) and (δ – TWEE) which are adopted Zöschinger’s modules with the properties (E) and (EE). We call a module (δ – TWE) module if M has a weak δ-supplement in every torsion extension. Similarly if M has ample weak δ-supplements in every torsion extension then M is called (δ – TWEE) module. We obtain various properties of these modules. We will show that (1) Every direct summand of a (δ – TWE) module is a (δ – TWE) module. (2) A module M has the property (δ – TWEE) if every submodule of M has the property (δ – TWE) . (3) Any factor module of a (δ – TWE) module is a (δ – TWE) module under a special condition. (4) Over a nonlocal ring, if every submodule of a module M is a (δ – TWE) module, then it is cofinitely weak δ-supplemented.

In this study it is searched that how the evolute surface of a surface, which is given parameter lines are lines of curvature in E^4 is constructed. Then, the Gaussian curvature and the mean curvature of the evolute surface are investigated and some important results are given. Finally, we present some examples to confirm our claim.

The main purpose of university managers is to manage as well as possible the institutional resources, the academic and administrative services. Thus they have to be able to manage and use a large amount of data and information, inside the own university as well as outside of it. The big volume of information increases the difficulty of decision making. The paper emphasizes an efficient way to structure the decisional process in the superior school, using a generic architecture that contains data mining technology. Being a process of knowledge discovery, data mining uses data to create models through a predictive mechanism. Having as purpose the improvement of the decisional process, the model proposed in the current paper uses software instruments of last generation in the field of web development, data bases and interface design. This allows the development, inside universities, of a system that analyses the workflow, being able to identify the deficiencies and assure making good decisions. Using specific algorithms for statistics and searching techniques, the model extracts information meant to improve the learning process, to correlate the educational offer with the work market, to lead to increase of performance in the process of making decisions.

Romanian health system faces many problems, especially the lack of personnel or of the equipment necessary for the prevention and treatment of diseases, hygiene etc. All these shortcomings are borne by patients, who are increasingly making comparisons with the health systems abroad, where Romania is always ranked last. In search of providers of quality healthcare, patients frequently resort to private health care system, which provides, against payment, all that the public sector lacks: well-trained staff, the latest equipment, reduced waiting time (the patient is consulted on appointment- basis), impeccable conditions of hygiene, staff courtesy, home medical services etc. These shortcomings have led us to hear the views of the beneficiaries of medical services of the two sectors: public and private.

This study is aimed at investigating the drying kinetic of Myrtus communis L. leaves by fluidisation at controlled temperatures and air speeds and fitting it to eight mathematical models existing in the literature. Five experiences were carried out for three airflows (Va=1, 0.8 and 0.3 m/s) and three temperatures (40, 50, 60 °C). Fitting of experimental drying curves to the models pointed out that « Modified Henderson and Pabis» model is the most suitable for describing the drying kinetic of this product.

The lattice dynamical investigation of Copper (Cu) has been made on the basis of improved by van der Waals three body force shell models [VTBFSM]. The present model includes van der Waals interactions (VWI) and three-body interactions (TBI) in the framework of both ion polarizable rigid shell models (RSM). van der Waals interactions and three-body interactions in the structure of Rigid Shell model (RSM) with short-range interactions viable up to the second neighbor. In the present communication author has reported thermodynamic properties, dispersion relation and density of state (DOS) of copper by the utilization of the present model [VTBFS] and Phonon-programming. We concentrated on here the lattice dynamics, metal Cu on our approach by figuring phonon dispersion relations along the three principal symmetry directions, entropy, internal energy, free energy, heat capacity at the temperature of 300K and 1356K and density of state (DOS) in THz. The model expectations are sensible for the total harmonic dynamical conduct of the crystals and will concurrence with their experimental reported results.

The total phenols contents and individual polyphenols in alcoholic extractive solutions of spinach (Spinacia oleracea), common nettle (Urtica dioica), rocket salad /arugula (Eruca sativa), common dandelion (Taraxacum officinale), parsley (Petroselinum crispum), lovage (Levisticum officinale), mint (Mentha piperita), summer savory/satureja (Satureja hortensis) were examined using Folin-Ciocalteu method and an adapted USP30 HPLC method, respectively. The highest concentration in total phenols was registered for lovage (6860.82 mg GAE/100 g f.w.) and rocket salad (620.41 mg GAE/100 g f.w.).HPLC – DAD analysis indicate the presence of nine individual polyphenolic compounds in different concentrations: gallic acid exists in all studied herbs in variable concentrations, from 13.13 mg/100 g f.w.in spinach to 420.02 mg/100g f.w. in rocket salad; ellagic acid in four herbs from 42.71 mg/100 g f.w. in common dandelion to 632.42 mg/100g f.w. in lovage; chlorogenic acid in four herbs from 0.44 mg/100 g f.w. in common nettle to 4.17 mg/100 g f.w. in mint; caffeic, caftaric, coumaric, ferulic, 3-o-methyl-gallic acids were determined in small amounts

It is clearly anticipated that Nanotechnology plays an important role in the technological development of the actual period, introducing higher performance materials, intelligent systems and new methods of production, with significant impact for all the societal aspects. What is happening in the present can be considered as the beginning of a revolution based on the human ability to work on the same scale as nature. In this respect, secondary education has to consider the area of Nanoscience / Nanotechnology as a special chapter in the process of educating the young generation, taking into account that it involves a multidisciplinary natural Science education, providing concepts met also in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. This paper underlines some aspects of the non-formal activities carried out by the young students to know general concepts about nanomaterials and their industrial applications, together with the introduction of Responsible Research and Innovation dimensions. The activities were organized using the discovery-based learning method, so that students participated actively in debates, bringing arguments on their claims. The groups of students were also involved in investigating or solving community problems, introducing several solutions based on the exploitation of some typical nano-products. The problems were tried to be solved through group discussion, with proposals for alternative solutions, by motivating the choice of the final solution. All the illustrated activities were part of a special Unit dedicated to Industrial Applications of Nanomaterials, designed in the frame of the EU FP7 project entitled: “IRRESISTIBLE – Including Responsible Research and Innovation in Cutting Edge Science and Inquiry-based Science Education to Improve Teacher’s Ability of Bridging Learning Environments”. At the same time, the carried out activities contributed to the formation of conscious and responsible attitudes toward the importance of using certain properties of nanomaterials in various industrial applications.

In the contemporary school, claimed itself as a stronger one and assumed as connected to the actual social realities in a great measure, the students’ counseling process represent an important issue. In this sense, a particular component of the process is represented by the professional counseling or career counseling. Practically, it includes a set of activities designed and implemented in order to facilitate the choice of a profession, by raising the students’ awareness on their competitiveness, objectified level of knowledge, interests, attitudes and professional skills, but also on their realistic reporting related to their future professions, labor market requirements and specific professional standards in the selected field. In this sense, the teachers should be concerned to identify and cultivate the students’ interests for a particular professional field and present them in a realistic manner, the characteristics of the professions or careers which are subsumed to a specific area. The paper tried to identify the ways in which the Science teachers (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) are able to cultivate the students’ interest for a research career, especially dedicated to the scientific area. In this respect, it was designed and monitored a Case Study, involving secondary school students as main actors, beneficiaries in fact of the activities proposed in the frame of the FP7 European project called IRRESISTIBLE. The study had the main objective to train the Science teachers with the view to promote formal, informal and non-formal learning activities, considering the introduction of Responsible Research and Innovation dimensions in those specific contexts. The obtained results let us to consider that a proper design and implementation of modern teaching approaches and interactive processes may guide the students on choosing a career in science research.

The Cm (A=248) isotope belong to SU(3) dynamical symmetry. Energy levels were calculated by using (IBM-1.For), there is a good agreement with the experimental results. As confirmation one energy level and prediction for energy levels number (6). The computer code (IBMT) was used to study the probability of electric transitions B(E2) for 248^96_Cm_152 isotope, As it was calculated reduced matrix elements <Lf||T̂^(E_2||L_i> for isotope under study. In addition to that it has been found the electric quadrupole moments (Q_L) to clarify the shape of the nucleus.

In this paper, the variational iteration method (VIM) is implemented to give a numerical solution of a system of linear differential equations that described the effect of transmission coefficient on the model of a susceptible-exposed-infected-recovered-susceptible epidemic with saturated incidence rate and disease-induced death.

Solutions of nonlinear models are of great importance and their significance has increased a lot. In this article, analytical solutions of nonlinear fluid model representing MHD flow over a nonlinear stretching sheet are obtained via Exp-function method. Computational work and succeeding results re-confirm the efficiency of anticipated algorithm. It is experimental that recommended scheme is highly trustworthy and may be extended to other nonlinear models represented in the form of highly nonlinear differential equations.

Research in the field of materials sciences and in particular in the field of magnetic thin films and multilayers has gained considerable momentum thanks to the economic stakes involved in magnetic and magneto-optical recording. Hard disks, magnetic tapes, and optical disks are today the main media used in computers. The most promising multi-layer or alloy systems are those with high perpendicular magnetic anisotropy and excellent resistance to oxidation and corrosion. It is clear, however, that the future use of such supports for high-density magneto-optical recording requires an accurate understanding of the mechanisms responsible for the observed magnetic

X-rays are a type of ionizing radiation used by man for various purposes, leading to toxic contamination of variable duration. Exposure is indicted persons carrying out activities with artificial sources of radiation (the use of ionizing radiation in medicine for diagnosis and therapy), and in practice in other fields of activity (the use of ionizing radiation in medicine for diagnosis and therapy) and in practice in other fields of activity (phosphate rock processing materials, burning coal in power plants, operation of aircraft). In medicine, the level of occupational exposure by presenting the following amounts 0.6 mSv for radiation therapy, and the level of exposure in the industry is 1.9 mSv the production of isotopes, 0.1 mSv for radiation materials, 1.6 mSv for industrial radiography. Biological effects that occur as the body’s response to the radiation dose received may be deterministic and stochastic. Deterministic effects are characterized by a causal relationship between dose and effect, with amount of radiation energy that is absorbed by tissue is higher by severity of the effect becomes more pronounced. Threshold dose that causes adverse effects, represented by the equivalent total dose acute exposure is 2.50 to 6.00 Sv single ovary and 0.15 / 3.50 to 6.00 Sv testicles and causes sterility, and in the case of bone marrow hematopoiesis hallmark is reduced. Ionizing radiation levels can be an indicator of risk for the human health.
